Upon arrival, you are met and are transferred to Kandy, an approximate 3-hour drive. Check into your hotel and the rest of the day is free for you to relax and enjoy the facilities available in the hotel. After you have relaxed a while, you are taken on a city tour of Kandy.

You then visit the Kandy town and Bazaar, the arts & crafts centre and a gem museum and a lapidary. In the evening, visit the Temple of the Tooth Relic and thereafter witness a cultural show featuring traditional Sri Lankan dancers. Overnight in Kandy.

Following breakfast this morning, you are transferred from Kandy to Pinnawala, an approximate one-hour drive, where you visit the elephant orphanage. This orphanage is home to about 60 elephant, out of which are some baby elephants found abandoned or orphaned in the wild. They are cared, fed and trained by the wild life authorities. You could also accompany the elephants to a river close- by and see them having their daily bath. Later, you are transferred from Pinnawala to Nuwara Eliya which would take you around 3 hours. Nuwara Eliya are where the famous tea gardens of Lanka are and the place is very relaxing and fresh. Check in and relax. The rest of the day is free for you. Overnight in Nuwara Eliya.

After breakfast this morning, you are transferred from Nuwara Eliya to Hakgala, where you visit the Hakgala Botanical gardens, one of the pleasure gardens of King Ravana of the well- known epic " Ramayana" this garden was expanded during the British period and has a wide varity of flowers, including an excellent collection of orchids. Following your visit, you are transferred to Colombo via Kitugala which will take you approximately 5.5.hours. Overnight in Colombo.

Following breakfast at the hotel, you are then taken on a city tour of Colombo. Colombo, like many capital cities in developing countries, is fast changing its face. Yet in some parts, the Old World Charm is retained. Other places of interest are the Pettah Bazaar where one can shop for bargains, the old parliament in Fort. Later, you have time to shop at Odel, following which, it's time for you to be transferred to Colombo airport in time for your departure flight out. Hope you have had a great holiday!
